If you want to sample the sport and cuisine together, you can take part in one of the ‘Culinary König Tours’ in the Hochkönig region. During summer 3 and winter 4, various tours guide you on foot or on skis from one lodge to the next and to sample a very special dish. A unique experience!
Skiing
Visit us at the Haus Bergliebe – you will find us close to the lifts for the large Hochkönig ski resort which offers around 120 km of pistes and 33 lifts.
The ideal ski resort for all ages, from beginner to professional.
Extra special: the ‘König Tour’ – a ski circuit with breath-taking panoramic views, 6 peaks, 35 continuous kilometres of pistes and all over an altitude of 7,500m.
Or take a trip from lodge to lodge during the ‘Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week’ or the Craft Beer Festival’. A very special experience!
Sledging
Sledging is known as ‘Schlitten fahren’ in Pinzgau, a fun sport whether alone or with family and friends. Maria Alm and its surroundings are home to numerous natural toboggan runs here you can glide back down into the valley by sledge!
Winter walks
Hike through the wonderful landscapes of Maria Alm in winter. Perfectly prepared winter footpaths provide insight into nature.
